Dorothy Gardner Nursery School
Welcome to Dorothy Gardner Nursery School.
Choosing the right nursery for your child can be difficult. Through transparency and honesty, we will help you make the right decision and find out exactly what makes us the best decision for you and your family
Dorothy Gardner Nursery School provides high quality childcare and early years education, giving priority to the developmental needs and happiness of our children and their families in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
As part of this process we recognise and value the diverse community that we are part of, believing that quality can be achieved by working together in partnership with parents, the local community and Queen’s Park Children’s Centre.
Our beautiful outdoor provision compliments the rich learning opportunities available to our children. It supports the development of healthy and active lifestyles by offering children opportunities for physical activity, freedom and movement, and promoting a sense of well-being. In addition to this we also have a Forest School Provision.
Our Forest School provision takes place in a woodland or natural environment to support the development of a relationship between the learner and the natural world. During these sessions we promote the holistic development of all those involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
Children learn to play, and they learn through playing with their peers, adults and by themselves. At Dorothy Gardner we provide the foundations for their future life.
Dorothy Gardner Nursery School is a state maintained school in Westminster. We offer 30 hour and 15 hour places. Subject to availability, we are able to offer a small number of fee paying, full time & part time places (please contact the school for more information).
