Mary Paterson Nursery School
Welcome to Mary Paterson Nursery School.
We understand that choosing the right childcare is probably one of the most important decisions you will ever make. At Mary Paterson we recognise the privileged position we are in and have the same shared vision as you – We want the very best for your child.
We have created a safe and stimulating learning environment allowing each child to engage in a creative, broad and balanced curriculum allowing them to become independent learners, reaching their full potential.
Our practitioners are highly skilled and by allowing children the freedom to explore their own interests, it increases their engagement as they are allowed to participate in activities they have chosen themselves.
Our beautiful outdoor provision compliments the rich learning opportunities available to our children. It supports the development of healthy and active lifestyles by offering children opportunities for physical activity, freedom and movement, and promoting a sense of well-being. In addition to this we also have a Forest School Provision.
Our Forest School provision takes place in a woodland or natural environment to support the development of a relationship between the learner and the natural world. During these sessions we promote the holistic development of all those involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
Children learn to play, and they learn through playing with their peers, adults and by themselves. At Mary Paterson we provide the foundations for their future life.
